Chris is serving his first term as City Councilman in Arlington, Washington. He serves on the following committees:
- Public Safety
- Public Works & Airport
- Chair of the Information Technology Ad Hoc Committee
- Council Representative to the Arlington Economic Development Committee
Prior to his election, Chris was a commissioner on the city’s Parks, Arts and Recreation Commission. He was also a proponent for the development of the city’s skatepark and a founding director of the national skatepark advocacy group Skaters for Public Skateparks. Skaters for Public Skateparks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has received recognition from groups such as the Tony Hawk Foundation for educating citizens and municipalities on all aspects of skateparks.
Born and raised in Arlington, Chris is honored to have this opportunity to serve his community. From his background in grocery store management he brings strong business experience to this position. Along with being an avid skateboarder, Chris is also a licensed private pilot. Chris and his wife, Linda, are the proud parents of Trista, Ian and Nigel.
